This California Book Club Summit, a celebration of African American writers and their works, launches again in 2010 in Northern California. The Book Club Summit was created to showcase African American authors from various genres to their fans, the avid readers, the casual readers and everyone in between who loves reading and supporting African American literature. This event will feature African American literary powerhouses like Victoria Christopher Murray, Tananarive Due, Steven Barnes, and Mary B. Morrison to name just a few.
